Chiangmai Eagle Track Zipline

Chiangmai - After our 3hrs of ATV tour, we were transported to Eagle Track Zipline which is the nearest zipline.   After the briefing, signing of health declaration and appropriate zip line gear, we are off to our high flying fun. Getting gear up me, Edward and Donny Zipline Adventurers Thumbs up! Byoungki and Lesley Byoungki just followed what the zipline instructors asked him to do.   Basically, the instructors were making fun of our gullibility. Edward hero lah!

ATV Chiangmai Tour

Chiangmai - Early in the morning the ATV Chiangmai mini bus picked us up at Le Meridien Chiangmai to the venue.   We did 2 rounds on the learning circuit and then off to the main road on wards to the peak of the mountain.  It started to drizzle and we had to put on our rain coat. Lesley and Byoungjin (background) We had to stop for a while because Donny's ATV chain broke and a replacement was on the way. Donny & Edward explaining the ATV broken chain muddy field This is also the place where our tour guide found a football and we started to kick around but ended with a muddy pair of running shoes.   Donny's ATV was repaired and we were on our way to the peak clouded with fog and feeling very cold.   The temperature started to drop close to 15 degrees with the wind blowing on our body.   It was very cold and foggy at the Peak foggy and cold

Le Meridien Chiang Mai

Chiangmai - Today's SQ flight into Chiangmai was 2/3 empty and this leaves a lot of leg room and space for me to rest.   At the immigration counter, the officer was polite to inform me that the system was slow and in fact there was not crowded at all.   I was wondering where to take the taxi and as I exit the custom area - the counter 'Metered Taxi'.   The taxi ride was a mere 15 mins and cost 150Bht to Le Meridien Hotel. Due to the higher elevation, Chiang mai tends tobe much cooler than most of the nation. Donny, Edward and I was hankering for some good seafood and came across this restaurant near the hotel and we order the fresh big prawns BBQ. BBQ big prawns Steam sea bass Chicken feet Som Tam
