Punggol Seafood @ Punggol Settlement

Singapore  - After our walk through Coney Island, it's time for dinner and the cool restaurant air con was a good relief from the hot weather.

Clams Noodle
This was on promotion @ $1 if the total bill is $50 and above.   The clams are fresh and the gravy is peppery spiced.

Vegetables
Pomfret fish Teochew Style
The pomfret fish was tender in a Teochew style broth.   It was really good.

Steam crabs with Egg White
Superb, succulent and soft crab meat...yummy.

Coney Island

Singapore - I drove to Coney Island which is the end of NE Singapore at Punggol end.   Across the sea we can see Johor and also Pulau Ubin.   I even had a Celcom signal on my mobile phone.

Welcome to Coney Island
Rather than rent a bike we walk from Punggol settlement to Coney Island which was a long walk and decided to turn back 1/3 through as the park will be closing at 7pm.   The 2.4 km Main Path runs the length of the island and is made of gravel and dirt. It connects the West and East Entrances of Coney Island Park together.

Map of Coney Island

We were here....
By the time I reach Punggol Seafood I was drenched in sweat.    Next time should rent a bike...
