Tim Ho Wan @ Mall of Asia, Manila

Manila - During breakfast, came across a unique fruit  Edmund cutting the Santol Santol fruits are best suited for raw applications as their sweet and sour flavour is showcased when consumed fresh, out-of-hand. To eat raw, the flesh can be sucked from the seeds, but caution should be taken not to swallow the seeds as they are inedible. The flesh can also be sprinkled with salt and spices, consumed as a snack, or it can be soaked in fruit juices and blended into a beverage. There is no much flesh to this fruit after pitting the seed. We went to Mall of Asia for our lunch at Tim Ho Wan - and had their usual famous dish. Yam Puff shrimp Mango Pomelo desert Chee Cheong Fun with prawns Kai Lan with oyster sauce Tim Ho Wan signature BBQ pork bun Prawn dumpling Yam coconut milk desert After this sumptuous meal, we packed and leave for the airport.  I do not want to be caught in a floor as it has been raining for the past days.

Rico's chilli Lechon Rico's famous Lechon The chilli Lechon tasted better - and I think because we are a small group it looks like scraps off the roasted pig.   I have tasted the actual Cebu Lechon and it is so much tastier and succulent than this dish.   Rico's lechon is so dry.   I will not come here again. Baked scallops Tried one and it was dry and rubbery -  Baked Bangus The baked Milk fish was the best dish - ironically for a Pork restaurant.
