14Km Walking Trail through housing estates - Serangoon Central - Bidadari - Potong Pasir - Toa Payoh - Bishan - Serangoon Gardens

Singapore - I met Edmund at Nexmall @ 7.30AM and we walk to Sunshine Park at Serangoon Central.   Sunshine Park @ Serangoon Central This is a small park for the neighbourhood residents is situated nearby to St. Gabriel's Secondary School. It was wonderful walk in a park and enjoying the beautiful scenery.  There are fitness stations suitable for all ages, making it an ideal location for individuals of all fitness levels to engage in physical activity. The kids' play area features fun-filled climbing frames and swings. We can then walk through the Sunshine estate of private residences towards Bidadari.   This is the newest HDB estate in Singapore, many of the block of flats were still being built.   I saw it from a vast cemetery and then exhumed to make way for residence living.  Now it is change into a sprawling landscape of HDB and private residences.    Woodleigh HDB flats Beautifully built HDB flat along Bartley This is the newly buil...

Asian Civilisations Museum

Singapore - The last time I was here was in May 2018 ,  this time I was with Edmund and a new friend Gerry. Edmund and Gerry The new exhibits are Manila Galleon which explores a trade that connected Asia to the Americas and Europe. For centuries, Spanish ships laden with porcelain, silk, spices, and other goods sailed annually across the Pacific from Manila to Acapulco, returning with millions of pieces of silver.   This special exhibit within the Museum is chargeable at $12.  A steep price for this exhibit as there are lots of artefacts and exhibits to see too. I then came across Edmund's books that were on sale at the museum, and he was beaming with delight. It was a afternoon well spent with friends at the Museum.
