Imperial Chakri Palace @ KLCC

 Kuala Lumpur - I already reserved a table at OpenHouse KLCC but without informing patrons on their website, google and also Michelin guide that the restaurant was under going renovation.  Such a waste, we searched and searched for this restaurant and finally called them and was told they have another restaurant at Bangsar.

We ended up Imperial Chakri Palace, a thai restaurant with 4.4 good reviews. We ordered the 4 meal set dinner.

There was also a dish of steam Seabass which was also not live steam and most probably frozen, thawed and steamed.  The taste of the fish was not great.

 Kuala Lumpur - a short drive to PJ for durians and SS/2 was so crowded with people.

This durian cost around RM193 and it weight 2.6kg.  It was a meaty and good durian and just one was enough for us as there were many seeds and we were already full with the earlier dinner.

Hong Kee charcoal claypot chicken rice

 Kuala Lumpur - At this popular claypot chicken rice, their dishes sold out by 8pm and we have the last 2 huge claypot chicken rice.  This stall cooks the clay pot chicken rice with the old fashion charcoal fire instead of using propane gas.

The boiled soup was very tasty and the pork extremely soft to the taste.

At exactly 8pm+, we were the last patrons and the workers was getting ready to pull down the store shutters and about time to leave this restaurant.

The BBQ pork buns tasted good but too sweet for a pork bun.

Special Taiwanese Zongzi

This was the most expensive zongzi I have eaten at RM58 per zong zi and it was filled with chestnuts and the pork is Spain Iberico pork.

Northern China restaurant that exploded in my mouth !

Kuala Lumpur - a short walking distance from Vigilnet office we went to this Northern China restaurant which Donny went to but was not told of their Sichuan peppers in their dishes that basically made my mouth numb and sweating profusely.

This is the chicken dish that looks tame but it was not the Sichuan chilli but their peppers that gave the extreme numbing sensation to the mouth.

Lawnbowl festival at Tanjong Pagar CC

 Singapore - A fun morning to play lawn bowl with my son and friends.  The whole event started at 9+ and it was a team event and our team of 4 is # 11.   This lawn bowl is to get the senior residents of Tanjong Pagar excited about lawn bowling and was jointly organised by the community centre and Parabowls Singapore.

There was 7 lawn bowl activities of which we participated in all but in the end we did not win any prizes.

The lawn bowl is a short lawn so need to control the strength, speed of the bowl otherwise it will go out of court.  

There was also nature viewing around the park - mother hen with her chicks.

and the urban beautiful landscape of the famous HDB Pinnacle.
