Kuala Lumpur - Edward and Donny brought me to this old Kedai Kopi (means Coffee shop) which is famous for their braised fish head. We were fortunate to find seating for us as it gets very crowded around lunch time.

The famous braised fish head dish |
This coffee shop is famous for their steamed fish with spicy bean sauce. They are generous with their white rice a rice bucket is placed next to your table to help yourself. Putting scoups of the bean sauce onto your rice is really delicious. The fish is fresh but becareful of the numerous fish bones.

Bitter Gourd with 3-layer pork |
|
Spicy pig innards |
The intestines are quite tough and not marinated through enough, so it was not tasty.
|
Stir fried Kailan with prawns |
A nice 'home cooked' meal - simple and delicious. The coffee shop decor may put-off some customers as the kitchen is in a mess and quite dirty.
