Jakarta - When I reached the hotel, there was 2 things on my mind - change money and have lunch. The font desk told me where the money changer was but warned me not to take out my handphone as I could be robbed. So I asked whether it was dangerous to walk to the money changer and he said no. I walked down the main road of Jalan Gajah Mada. There were a number of money changers along this main road - and the exchange rates are much better than in Singapore.
Next was to find lunch and I came across this restaurant inside a supermarket.
Le Fan Tian restaurant |
Fried rice pork chop |
It was nicely presented. The pork chop is tender and tasty, and went very well with the fried rice. After a hearty meal, I just walked around this supermarket.
