Jakarta - We were hanging around Puri Indah which is located in West Jakarta, after our lunch we went to Lippo Mall Puri. A huge and modern mall with all the top end brands you can find in the world. We had fruit juice from Mama Roz.

Dinner we went to Talaga Sampireun one of Indonesian famous Sundanese restaurant with a beautiful setting of a man-made lake in the middle of the restaurant.
The Sunda or Sundanese are an indigenous ethnic group native to the western region of Java island in Indonesia. They number approximately 42 million and form Indonesia's second most populous ethnic group.

This is always my favourite when I am in Jakarta - oxtail soup. The meat is so tender with a tasty soup.

Fresh prawns BBQ with honey sauce. Nice fresh taste of the prawns - simply delicious.

This is one of Talaga Sampireun special dishes to try that originated from Manado, Indonesia. Sauté vegetables papaya flower is cooked with a slight bitterness to taste but I like it and it was my first time trying this dish.

A very beautiful setting and worth another visit to this restaurant and probably will have my dinner in one of the hut surrounding the lake next time.
