Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum

Hanoi - After our breakfast, we took a grab taxi to visit Uncle Ho - which serves as the resting place of Vietnamese Revolutionary leader and President Ho Chi Minh in Hanoi, Vietnam. It is a large building located in the center of Ba Dinh Square.

When the grab taxi was nearing the entrance, there was a traffic jam and many people were queuing - which I think is the queue to enter the Mausoleum.   We walked to the back of the queue and after about 30 mins of queuing we only reach the entrance to the Mausoleum.

After 2hrs of queuing, it was endless and the picture here is just around the bend into the Mausoleum.   We spent about 3hrs queuing for just 10 seconds to see Uncle Ho in his resting place.

This is last pic taking before the guards will furious shout at you for taking any photos.   After 3hrs of queuing I managed to tick this off my bucket list of things to do in Hanoi.
