Frankfurt / Cologne - The flight from Singapore was choppy and lots of turbulent but landed safely in Frankfurt. A very modern airport with many directions in English and it was a breeze through immigration and customs.
I had to wait about 2hrs to catch my high speed train to Cologne central station.
Cologne in German language is called Koln and is the 4th largest city in Germany. 1m inhabitants lived in Cologne. Cologne is famous for kölsch beer, Eau de Cologne, of course, the Cologne Cathedral.

It took an hr express train from Frankfurt to Cologne and it was so smooth and fast - so much better than flying. Upon reaching Cologne, I had to ask for directions to catch an Uber and did not know that it was so near to my hotel. The Uber came and within less than 5 mins reach my hotel and cost me Euro 6.
The experience at Courtyard @ Marriott was bad as there was only one lady manning the counter and a long queue formed. My turn came and my room was not ready but because I was platinum, they rush the cleaning and it was ready in 30mins. In the meantime, I had complimentary breakfast and drinks but it was closing in 30 mins.
