Kuching - Along the Kuching waterfront, there sits a unique building which is the Chinese History museum. Entrance is free.

This small museum is about the history of Chinese people in Sarawak.
The Chinese were invited to come to Sarawak by Raja Brook to work, start businesses and prosper. Different dialect groups came at different times. The museum showcase the Teochews, Hokkien, Cantonese and many more smaller Chinese groups and the community they formed. Some build churches, temples and school.
The museum showcase the crafts that each dialect group is experts at from traders, gold smiths, labourers, etc.

It was a fruitful time at this museum though it was small, it gave me a glimpse of the Chinese life in Sarawak.
