Kuching - We walked along the Kuching waterfront towards Borneo Cultural museum. The kind reception told us that tomorrow is Sarawak Day and so the Borneo Cultural museum will be free of charge, otherwise it will cost us RM50 each. So, we make plans to come back to this museum tomorrow afternoon.
We cross beautiful overhead bridge to a row of colonial buildings across the road.

The Sarawak State Museum is the oldest museum in Borneo. It was founded in 1888 and opened in 1891. Entrance to this very small museum is free of charge.
Only the ground floor of the museum is open to public. There are natural collections and specimens of Sarawak fauna such as reptiles, mammals, birds and others.
